Our doctors
Sebastián Castrillón
functional medicine doctor
I am Sebastian Castrillon and I consider every experience in life, whether apparently good or unpleasant, as a learning opportunity. In my north is the cultivation of peace, happiness and service. I studied medicine at the University of Antioquia and Anesthesiology in Spain. I completed a master’s degree in physiology and another master’s degree in cardiovascular critical care also in Spain. I was in anesthesiology and cardiovascular critical care for many years before moving into functional medicine. My training in functional medicine includes: Training at the Kresser Institute and training at the Kharrazian Institute in the United States. I am registered as an international supplier of these institutes. Other current areas of training are Functional Immunology with Professor Samuel Yanuck, Applied Kinesiology with the International College of Applied Kinesiology and Clinical Mastership at the Kharrazian Institute. In my practice I focus on listening, understanding, explaining and motivating my patients. My goal is to draw a map that is clear and achievable for the patient.
Angélica Bermúdez
functional medicine doctor
I am Angélica Bermúdez and I studied medicine at the CES University of Medellín and functional medicine at the Institute for Functional Medicine in the United States. I am also a wife, sister, daughter and soon, if destiny allows it, a mother. I am a doctor but also a patient, I have lived the process of functional medicine and I have experienced all its benefits… but also its challenges, and that allows me to approach my patients from a more human and real perspective. In my office I see patients with all types of chronic diseases, and with each one I do an in-depth evaluation to understand their history. I focus on the treatment of digestive problems that manifest with symptoms such as inflammation after eating, food intolerance, gas and alteration in bowel habits.
María de la Paz Mejía
functional medicine doctor
I am a doctor who graduated from the CES University, I completed the functional medicine diploma at the FUCS and finally I completed the training to be a functional doctor at the Kresser Institute in the United States. I am a woman passionate about sunsets, nature and God. I like having a daily relationship with him and being able to show his love to others every day. Due to my passion for good health, nutrition and a good lifestyle, I am currently studying a nutrition course aimed at cancer patients. I seek to comprehensively address the different areas of their life (physical, emotional, mental and spiritual), teaching them the reason for what we do and empowering them to make important decisions in their life to achieve the objectives set. I see patients with different diseases such as gastrointestinal disorders, diabetes, thyroid disorders and cancer patients, but also those people without specific symptoms who want to improve their quality of life.

Diana Ramírez
functional medicine doctor
I studied medicine at the Fundación Universitaria San Martín, Sabaneta. There I understood the value of working with families, of the context that embraces the patient. I am a sensitive woman, I am a product of my experiences, a lover of questions, a lover of studying, of searching, of breathing, of living the life that I am fortunate to live.
My training in functional medicine includes a diploma in Functional Medicine from, the University Health Sciences Foundation and training in Functional Medicine from the Kharrazian Institute other areas of training are Neural Therapy, Physiological Regulation Medicine, and Yamamoto cranial acupuncture.
I balance life by enjoying my work and activities such as jewelry, crafts, exercise, meditation, family time, reading, and sometimes alone, sitting and contemplating.
In consultation, we do a thorough research exercise together, where we find physiological dysfunctions, ask ourselves questions, look for answers, and establish a plan and a route.
I see patients with different chronic conditions, such as pain, neurological diseases, mental health support, fatigue, insomnia, gastrointestinal, metabolic, and hormonal symptoms such as obesity, PMS, and fertility. And in general, patients who want to optimize their health and age healthy.
